Jamie grew up on the northern plains of South Dakota before earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Upon moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2006, Jamie discovered their love of nature and especially the mountains. Over the course of their career, Jamie has worn many hats in the construction industry, working with general contractors, owner's representative firms, and as a consultant supporting all aspects of the construction process. While they have worked on projects across the nation, Jamie has primarily worked on projects in Western Colorado, typically large commercial construction projects, multi-family affordable housing, and high end custom residences. Always seeking to have a positive impact in their community, as CORE’s Director of Climate Action Programs, Jamie brings their experience from across the construction landscape to CORE to help ensure our planet, including our beautiful valley, is livable for their lifetime and beyond. Living in Marble for the past 7 years, Jamie enjoys spending their free time skiing, hiking, hunting, and even manages to garden at 8000’ above sea level.
