Tim grew up along the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, where he learned to appreciate the beauty of the natural world. In 2019, he graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Media Studies, having written a senior thesis that explored “greenwashing” in the oil industry. During his last year of college, he worked as a Communication Intern for the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, the largest private conservation grant maker in the country. There he helped implement social media initiatives and build the foundation’s online presence. After college, he lived and worked in Washington DC for a solar company. Tim moved to Aspen in 2020, fulfilling a lifelong dream of living and working in a ski town. After a couple of seasons working in the hospitality industry, he returned to his passion for green energy, working for
CORE. When he’s not working, he spends time skiing, biking, hiking, and traveling.
