After a 15-year career as a software engineer, Mary changed course and pursued a degree in Environmental Studies from Sonoma State University. After graduation, she spent two years in Bulgaria as an environmental trainer in the Peace Corps. She has done various jobs in sustainability, including Ranger with the City of Boulder Open Space and Naturalist with Ambassadors of the Environment in Grand Cayman. Prior to joining CORE, Mary was the Energy Efficiency Program Administrator with Holy Cross Energy. Mary brings a passion to helping homeowners and business owners make informed decisions on making their spaces more comfortable while lowering their carbon footprint. Like many Coloradans, Mary spends her free time outdoors biking, hiking, camping, cross-country skiing, swimming, and practicing yoga. Vacations are spent exploring countries around the world, with Turkey, Galapagos Islands, and Slovenia a few of her favorite places to explore.
