When did climate change become real to you? The 2nd Annual Roaring Stories sought to answer this very real question by sharing personal experiences. On June 5th, 6 storytellers spoke to a sold-out audience at the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies Rock Bottom Ranch. With the help of Writ Large and MC Alya Howe, Mike Marolt, Mona Newton, Samuel Bernal, Annie Worley, Beatriz Soto, and Bill Kight shared how they have felt the tremendous impact of climate change.
Roaring Stories inspired a night of thoughtful reflection on working together to find a positive path forward. True tales ranging from the Roaring Fork Valley to the peak of Everest reinforced that climate change has no boundaries. By bringing the community together for a night of food, friends and stories, CORE was able to connect people, build understanding and foster discussions about our climate.
