CORE offers grants to the individuals and businesses of the Roaring Fork Valley to help promote resource efficiency and sustainability.  All funding for CORE grants is made available through Aspen and Pitkin County’s Renewable Energy Mitigation Program (REMP). Green Key Grant

Green Key Grant Application    *deadline May 1, 2013

The Green Key Grant is CORE’s largest and most competitive grant program.  It operates and is distributed on an annual cycle.  The Green Key Grant provides funding to support projects that focus on energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy and water conservation and green building.  Priority will be given to applications that deal with the following issues: affordable housing, cost effectiveness, public visibility, education, environmental benefits, energy efficiency, leverage, unique opportunity, new technologies, and green design. See funded projects

Community Grant

Community Grant Application

Community Grants aim to support a broad spectrum of environmental and energy projects with tangible results for the Roaring Fork Valley.  The aims of Community Grants are to reduce energy consumption, reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, offset greenhouse gases, promote the use of renewable energy, educate the community on energy issues, and develop more sustainable energy technologies.  Community Grants range from $2,500 – $10,000. 

Mini Grant

Mini-Grant Application

Mini Grants are designed to help individuals or businesses achieve a higher level of sustainability and resource efficiency.  They cover up to $2,500, depending on the specific circumstances of the intended project.  Please contact CORE, at core@aspencore.org, for more information.

Design Assistance Grant

Design Assistance Grant Application

The Design Assistance Grant is made available to aid commercial and institutional development projects in implementing integrative efficient design.  This grant serves the purpose of promoting new technology and innovation during the design phase of new building construction.  If interested in learning more about the Design Assistance Grant, please contact core@aspencore.org.
